The Call
The ministry of Mighty Women built its foundation on a specific God-ordained call that finds its roots in the book of Isaiah, Chapter 58:6-12.
This specific scripture sends out an invitation to fellow believers to partner with the very ministry that Jesus preached to liberate the oppressed, feed the poor, heal the sick, clothe the naked and to love on the broken. As daughters of God, we at Mighty Women Ministries wholeheartedly believe that where there is a need, there is a call and that the word of God teaches us to obey the Lord quickly and quietly. The ministry of Jesus, while he was walking amongst humanity, was centered around the ones who had no one else to turn to. Those individuals who did not have all the necessary resources. The ones who were neglected, outcast, rejected and alone.
Luke 4:18
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight for the blind, to set the oppressed free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.”
Jesus’ ministry was strategic, intentional, positioned and effective. He took hands with the unlovable, broke bread with the undesirable and sat with the unacceptable. He did not care about trending or blending but he desired to see a change in the community around him that would impact the world.
Mighty Women is a safe haven where women can come out from amongst the brokeness of this world.
•A place where the identities of women are grown and nurtured based on the likeness of God.
•A place that provides resources for godly women such as blogs, inspirational testimonies, bible studies, apparel and much more.
•A place where profits will be used to do exactly what Isaiah 58 calls us to do.
We believe the Lord is calling us as His bride to carry the articles of heaven and pass the baton along to the sister standing next to us. And what better time to do it than for such a time as this. (Esther 14:4)
Founding Scripture
Isaiah 58:6-12
“Is not this the kind of fasting I have chosen:
to loose the chains of injustice
and untie the cords of the yoke,
to set the oppressed free
and break every yoke?
Is it not to share your food with the hungry
and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—
when you see the naked, to clothe them,
and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?
Then your light will break forth like the dawn,and your healing will quickly appear;
then your righteousness will go before you,
and the glory of the Lord will be your rear guard.
Then you will call, and the Lord will answer;
you will cry for help, and he will say: Here am I.
and will strengthen your frame.
You will be like a well-watered garden,
like a spring whose waters never fail.
Your people will rebuild the ancient ruins
and will raise up the age-old foundations;
you will be called Repairer of Broken Walls,
Restorer of Streets with Dwellings.”
Prophetic word to every Mighty Woman
“I have given you a distinct message of freedom that you are to proclaim to the nations.
Draw from the water of grace & pour cups for those around you.
Gather amongst you women of valor & prepare your hearts to receive all that is Christ’s promise for you.
Walk with broken women and make them more than conquerors through Christ’s love for them that wants to raise them from the dead.
Do now what I have called you to do for such a time as this & and surely, I will supply all your needs through my glorious riches.
Partake of the holiest of holies. Enter into the marriage supper of the Lamb.
For you are invited for such a time as this. Walk in the Spirit, love & power and move on the wings of faith.
Knowing that you don’t have to “do” but you simply have to “be.” I will equip you to do all the work of the saints.
Walk with me and beside me as an obedient daughter & I will stir your heart with faith & love, all you need to overcome.”
