• PHILOSOPHY: the quality of mental states (e.g. thoughts, beliefs, desires, hopes) which consists in their being directed towards some object or state of affairs.

This is probably one of my favorite core values I aim to live by. Intentionality. There is so very much to say on this topic and I will probably be sharing more of this over the coming weeks…⠀⠀

But basically, this is what I know:

*When we choose to be intentional with our hearts - we are set up for success. We grow, we learn, we steward and we prosper.
*When we choose to be intentional with others, intentionally choosing connection - something shifts in the atmosphere.

There is nothing that ministers to a heart more than another heart paying attention. And isn’t that just the way the Father is. Intentional. His heart is intentionally set towards us. He intentionally created this beautiful earth for us to enjoy. Every Sunrise, every flower, every laugh, every breeze for us to enjoy. He is intentional with pursuing our hearts and never quits on us. He is intentional about sitting down and listening, hearing all about our day, our dreams and desires. He is intentional about communication; always uplifting and always loving. ⠀⠀⠀⠀

So, with that being said, here is how we can apply His nature and intentionality to our daily lives:

*Be present in every moment. Soak it all in.
*Pursue His heart and find out what makes Him happy.
*Embrace the hearts of your friends, family and spouse, be intentional with loving them.
*Listen with your heart, apply love, wisdom and understanding.
*Encourage, uplift and be their best champion.

If we want to be intentional, we have got to follow His lead.
“So, imitate God. Follow Him like adored children, and live in love as the Anointed One loved you—so much that He gave Himself as a fragrant sacrifice, pleasing God” - Eph 5:1-2 (VOICE)
